Ashwin became the 4th Indian bowler who took the fastest 500 wickets in his career before this Amar Singh took fastest 500 wickets in only 90 first class Matches. whereas Padmakar Shivalkar played 103first-class matches and he is on no. 2 position. Ashwin is only behind former greats Amar Singh, Padmakar Shivalkar and Vaman Kumar in this list.
