Rajkot 5th October, Indian skipper Virat Kohli falls after smashing 139 runs on Day 2. After hitting two consecutive boundaries he wanted to go for a lofted shot but got the bottom half of the bat and the ball lobbed to mid-on.
Partnership- Indian skipper Virat and wicketkeeper Batsman Pant played a superb inning and made a partnership of 133 runs for the 5th wicket. Rishab pant was going well and he was taking on all the bowlers but after hitting 4 maximums he missed time while playing a lofted shot in 109th over. Pant failed to become the first Indian wicketkeeper to score back to back centuries and he gets dismissed in the 90s.
Kohli scored 1000 runs in three consecutive years which is a record. he played a good knock today and achieved his 24th test ton. he passed Steve, smith now.
Ravindra Jadeja came out to bat and he is still on the crease with Kuldeep Yadav, Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin didn't do well and he made only 7 runs.
Devendra Bishoo windies spinner bowled well today and he took 2 wickets today before tea.
Ravindra Jadeja playing on unbeaten (44*) whereas Kuldeep has played 24 balls and scored 4* runs.
